PAGE TOWNSHIP, MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash in Mille Lacs County Wednesday afternoon left one person injured after a wrong-way pickup driver collided with a Lexus RX on the shoulder of Highway 169 at 190th Street.
At approximately 2:01 p.m. on June 18, a 2021 Ram 1500, driven by Howard James Bahn, 80, of Baxter, was heading southbound in the northbound lane. His vehicle struck a 2016 Lexus RX traveling correctly in the northbound lane.
The Lexus was driven by Lyubov Bekbau, 69, of Blaine, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Fairview Princeton. A passenger, Bektursun S. Bekbau, also 69, was not injured.
Roads were wet at the time of the crash. Responding units included the Milaca Fire Department and the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office.
