Brady Ray Veselka, 39, of Middle River, was sentenced on Tuesday, August 6, in Pennington County District Court for serious drug-related offenses. Veselka faced felony charges, including third-degree controlled substance crime and first-degree driving while impaired (DWI).
For the drug charge, Veselka received a 52-month prison sentence, with credit for 261 days already served. He was also ordered to refrain from possessing firearms or dangerous weapons and to pay $135 in fees and fines. Additionally, Veselka was sentenced to 65 months in prison for the DWI charge, which will run concurrently with his drug sentence. He was required to provide a DNA sample and pay a $50 fine.
