  1. I would just like say thank you to everyone one who has prayers and supported us, I really appreciate it, and to anyone else, I would like to say I really don't care what you have to say negative about are family, l love my Shane he is my son, and it was very hard to go through this, and still going through this, the only reason I made this statement was to maybe help people become aware of how insane our system is, and maybe help make a difference for anyone else who may go through this, I did not ask for anyones sympathy or judgement, I just told our story, Bless each and every one of you who made a comment on here good or bad, but let's put our energy into making a better system, it's well needed, our prisons and jails are over flowing, so I personally would say there's a lack of goodness in our country for goodness overcomes evil, and it starts with each of us, we all have a story, if we continue the way we are going we won't have to worry about a nuclear bomb or another country fighting us, cuz we seem to be doing it for them,

  2. This had me crying and I'm a grown man. God bless this wonderful woman and her family, for they did everything RIGHT, and the son, did NOTHING WRONG. It irks me that a person such as Becky Inglis can work a job and yet do more in her day after work, than the entire system can do for her son at all… yes, it irks me because these police, mental health, and social worker people get paid a decent wage for their effort. Notice i left out the word "professional" because to me, having served in the United States Army and working in several similar capacities, the word professional is much more than part of a title. It is a duty to serve within the parameters you are given… plus improve on your own station and make a difference from within your organization. it means being proactive. It means listening. Its basically means you will perform at 100% at the very least which never ever includes leaving fire arms in an unlocked vehicle or simply passing the buck unto the next. Lastly, id like to say that i'm astonished that i've had law enforcement tail me in excess of 20 minutes to observe me possibly making a mistake and breaking a traffic law… on foot as well! So what in Mayberry were Andy and Barney doing that was so important they had to deprioritize this young man and his serious crisis which could have turned deadly? FINALLY NEIL CARLSON THANK YOU for publishing this report it is high quality and very important BUT QUIT interupting the lady when shes clearly making a valid and concise point just to interject with your slightly off mark generic points. Do well to just do less talking please it will serve you well its not a good look.

  3. They typically don't get help after a crime is committed, either. He was already embedded in the criminal justice system when this happened. Our punishment-focused criminal justice system isn't working, we need to focus on the root issues to prevent these situations.
