McIntosh, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — A McIntosh woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly throwing knives at her mother and a PCA worker during a heated domestic incident on June 12, 2025, at a home on Cleveland Ave. SW in Polk County.
Kyra Ann St. Clair, 19, has been charged with:
-
Two felony counts of Second-Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
-
One misdemeanor count of Domestic Assault
According to authorities, a financial discussion led to St. Clair’s “meltdown,” where she blocked her disabled mother’s walker, threatened suicide, and hurled two five-inch steak knives at both her mother, K.P., and PCA worker M.L.T.. One knife nearly struck K.P. in the face.
Deputies say St. Clair admitted she was overwhelmed by mental health struggles, including autism, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. She was arrested without further incident and transported to the Northwest Regional Correction Center.
Both victims feared for their safety, especially since K.P. had just undergone back surgery and could have been paralyzed had her walker been knocked away, according to the complaint.
