MCI Shuts Down Bus Manufacturing Plant in Pembina, ND

PEMBINA, ND (trfnews.i234.me) An employee says they were told this Thursday that the MCI bus manufacturing plant in Pembina, North Dakota will close by the end of the year.
a breaking news out of the northern valley mci motor coach industries is closing its bus plant here in pembina according to an employee who says they were told that they ended their shift today around four o’clock that the plant would close by the end of the year now we’ve reached out to company officials for their take on all this we haven’t heard back yet the employee says there are currently around 150 employees working here uh and that quite a few uh already left about five months ago when the layoffs were announced the employee says they were told that it’s costing too much for production they can’t get enough employees uh however uh this plant is union and he says he believes that may play a part in it it is owned by a new flyer uh the uh bus plant out of crookston which also has uh uh plants around the country we’ll try to get more details as i said from company officials uh but announced today that mci this uh bus manufacturing plant in pebble north of north dakota will be closing uh by the end of the year i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

  1. So people are saying it's cause union workers won't take less? Instead of the rich buyers & owners are paying more for the finely built USA built product?

  2. Or it could be NOBODY WANTS TO LIVE UP THERE IN TODAY'S WORLD! IT must take a strong person to live up there & make it a go for the family, that's work! Hard work!
