MAYVILLE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Peter M. Hallingstad, the manager of the Mayville Golf Course, is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault. According to court records, the incident occurred on May 18th when two men were walking home from the bars in downtown Mayville. An unknown assailant attacked one of the men, throwing the other aside. The victim suffered bruised ribs, a swollen black eye, and a cut requiring stitches. Hallingstad was later identified and arrested. The victim told authorities he did not know what motivated the attack.
