Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A bizarre jewelry heist in Fargo has landed a Mapleton, ND, man in serious legal trouble after he allegedly stole a $6,250 diamond ring—then returned to the scene the next day!
According to court records, on February 27, police responded to Salt Hill Gallery on Broadway North in Fargo for a theft report. Officers found Cody Jacob Gunderson inside the store and arrested him on outstanding warrants. But the real shock came when employees showed officers surveillance footage from the previous day, which captured Gunderson reaching into a display case—and the expensive diamond ring mysteriously vanishing.
In an even stranger twist, when officers arrived at the store, Gunderson was back again—and another video showed him placing the stolen ring on the counter. He is now charged with felony theft of property and faces serious legal consequences.

We hired this guy to do some home remodeling for us in 2023. He ruined our house and stole over $900 from our kids piggy banks. He needs to be locked up for a long time so that he can no longer wreck the lives of others. He is a professional con artist. We are out over $30,000 and have to have everything he touched re done not to mention the thousands of dollars of damage he caused to other areas of our house.
