Mankato Crash: Chevrolet Malibu Leaves Highway 14

Mankato (trfnews.i234.me) – On December 10, 2025, at 8:01 AM, a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu crashed on westbound Highway 14 near Milepost 135 in Mankato, Blue Earth County. The vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Jamecia Rose Vasquez Bluedog of Mankato, MN, left the roadway due to snowy and icy conditions and crashed.

Vasquez Bluedog, who was wearing her seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato for treatment. Two passengers in the vehicle, 4-year-old Kyron Rodriguez-Bluedog and 7-year-old Jaxon Vasquez-Bluedog, were uninjured and also wearing seat belts.

The road conditions at the time were snow-covered and icy, contributing to the crash. The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office, Eagle Lake Fire, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.
