HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Romell Roshode Lewis has been sentenced to approximately five years in prison after being convicted of first-degree aggravated robbery.
According to court documents, a woman and her 13-year-old son were bringing groceries into their home last summer when they were confronted by Lewis and several other men who had driven up to the house. The confrontation turned violent as the men attacked the mother, and when her son tried calling for help, he was dragged away.
Lewis’s actions led to a lengthy investigation that revealed his alleged involvement in nine more incidents of burglary and vehicle theft in Edina and Minnetonka. While many of those charges have been dismissed, Lewis still faces significant consequences for his crimes.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office charged Lewis in connection with these additional incidents, which included several burglaries that occurred in people’s driveways.
