FARGO ( trfnews.i234.me ) — A 21-year-old man has been sentenced on federal gun charges connected to a deadly 2024 shooting.

On Thursday, Amire Logan was given 46 months in prison. His sentence will be followed by three years of supervised release. He was convicted on two federal counts of possessing a stolen firearm.

Logan was originally named as the main suspect in the shooting death of 24-year-old Zion Brooks. However, the state attorney’s office later determined there was not enough evidence for homicide charges.

According to court documents, Logan must also forfeit four guns and 19 rounds of ammunition.
