Polk County, East Grand Forks (trfnews.i234.me) – A chaotic and dangerous police pursuit on March 17, 2025, ended with a Grand Forks man crashing his SUV on a bridge and leaping over the side in a desperate attempt to escape.

According to a felony complaint filed in Polk County, Kannon Lee Boulduc, 26, is charged with Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle, a felony punishable by up to 3 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

East Grand Forks Police spotted a suspicious white Ford Expedition with no license plates near an apartment complex known for drug activity. The vehicle fled after an officer attempted a traffic stop, blowing through multiple stop signs and racing into Grand Forks, North Dakota.

The vehicle ultimately crashed into a guardrail on the Demers Skyway bridge, where Boulduc exited, jumped off the bridge, and fled on foot. He was later apprehended by police. His wallet and ID were found by the driver’s side door, and body cam footage confirmed he was the driver.

Boulduc is no stranger to law enforcement, with a long rap sheet including felony drug convictions, burglary, theft, forgery, assault, and a revoked driver’s license. He also has pending charges in Grand Forks and is currently on parole in Minnesota.

Prosecutors have signaled they will seek an aggravated sentence due to Boulduc’s repeat offenses and unamenable to probation.
