Man Completes 5,000-Mile Trek from Florida Keys to Angle Inlet, Minnesota

ANGLE INLET, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A man finished his 5,000 mile walk from the Florida Keys to Angle Inlet, Minnesota this week. We have his story.
a journey of 5 000 miles came to an end this past Sunday when hiker Richard Larson AKA Skittles arrived at The Familiar boy at Angle Inlet Minnesota his Adventure officially started on November 23rd of 2021 in Key West Florida and finished October 2nd 2022 with the Northwest angle 314 days later but he began planning this route for some time before his first steps through all four seasons all types of terrain vast country sides Deep Woods Great Lake shorelines logging camps and farmland Skittles was steadily hiking toward his goal along the way he met people that restored his faith in humanity he said as he traveled along unfamiliar roads passers-by often stopped to check on him offering to help shelter food and water seen through the actions of some most of us just want to help each other you can read about his hike and some of the people he met along the way way in his online Trail Journal at trailjournals.com Skittles while he doesn’t have any thousands of miles hikes on his calendar at this point one might assume he will still be seeking new adventures and Hiking some new trails the next stop on his path of life is returning to his job as a sports editor in Ketchikan Arkansas where he has worked previously enjoys the availability and accessibility of the outdoors quote it’s the lifestyle I love he explained and we can be sure he will continue to seek out other Less Traveled paths in his future I’m Neil Berg reporting for page one publications.com
