Man Charged with Murder in Connection to Fentanyl Overdose Fatality

BAGLEY, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Bagley, Minnesota man has been charged with 3rd Degree Murder for allegedly providing a victim with Fentanyl that caused his death in August of 2021.
43-year-old Brian Steven Olen of Bagley Minnesota has been charged with third deegree murder in connection to a fanol overdose death according to court documents on August 6th of 2021 Clearwater County officers responded to the 500 block of Main Avenue in chevin for a report of a deceased man in a yard the investigation revealed the victim had told others he had run out of heroin and got a ride to Olsen’s Residence at 316 thirdd Street Northwest in baggley and purchased controlled substances which he used in the vehicle and overdosed others in the vehicle attempted to revive him using Naran but were unsuccessful and placed his body in a yard here in chevin the autopsy revealed the victim died from toxic levels of meth morphine and Fentanyl the third degree murder charge against Olsen carries a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and alleges that without intent to cause death he provided the victim fentanyl I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
