STANLEY, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – Malcom Mayors, 33, of Stanley, North Dakota, turned himself into the Mountrail County Jail shortly after midnight on Friday. Mayors confessed to officers that he had taken psychedelic mushrooms and was uncertain if he had killed his friend.

Police responded to 535 2nd St. SW, discovering a man shot through the chest and side. A gun and two bullet casings were found at the scene, with one bullet striking a water pipe, causing the basement to flood.

Mayors admitted to consuming psychedelic mushrooms between 6 and 7 p.m. on Thursday. He invited a friend over to play virtual reality games and drink beer. Mayors, struggling to differentiate reality from hallucination, fired shots, unsure if they were real or imagined. Attempting to call for help, he mistakenly grabbed his friend’s phone before driving off to seek assistance.

Malcom Mayors is now in the Mountrail County Jail, charged with Felony AA Murder. His bond is set at $1 million.
