WAHPETON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Wahpeton resident, Jose Manuel Ozuna Jr., has been charged with felony animal cruelty after a disturbing Snapchat video surfaced, showing him allegedly pouring antifreeze into a dog’s food and water bowls.
The incident, which took place on August 2nd at 215 Second Street North, was reported to the authorities by a concerned individual who saw the video. In the footage, Ozuna is heard saying goodbye to the dog and expressing hope that its death would be painless, while also questioning why the dog was still alive.
Law enforcement obtained a warrant, and confronted Ozuna, and he admitted that the substance added to the bowls was indeed antifreeze. Ozuna is now facing serious charges as a result of this cruel act.
