Uh, initial calls started going out uh just after 700 p.m. >> Please respond to 42 First Avenue Northeast in Mayville at the O’Brien elevator. There is smoke and requested assistance. Repeating, Portland Fire Department, please respond to the O’Brien elevator at 42 1st Avenue Northeast in Mayville. Mayville Fire is requesting assistance. And now, as you see from this I News viewer uh video, this fire is out of control and we’re hearing calls for multiple fire departments being called to the scene. Message here from a Mayville viewer saying uh people in homes on the east side of the fire are being asked to evacuate as firefighters try to keep this fire only at the elevator.
