Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) — On April 8, 2025, Sonja Robin Plantz, born May 19, 1982, was taken into custody for first-degree felony drug sale under Minnesota Statute 152.021.1(1).
Plantz is accused of selling more than 10 grams of methamphetamine, cocaine, or heroin within a 90-day window, a threshold that constitutes first-degree drug trafficking in Minnesota. This charge is one of the most serious narcotics offenses in the state.
A conviction under this statute may lead to up to 30 years in prison and substantial fines, depending on prior criminal history. Law enforcement views these operations as a major threat to community safety due to the high volume of dangerous narcotics involved.
