Mahnomen County: Pickup Leaves Roadway on Hwy 113 – Driver Hospitalized

Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) — A single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning sent Randy Scott Moen, age 56, from Gary, MN, to the hospital after his 2023 Chevrolet Silverado veered off Highway 113 in Little Elbow Township, Mahnomen County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred around 7:33 a.m. on March 19, 2025, when Moen’s vehicle exited the eastbound lanes of the highway. The road was reported as dry at the time of the crash.

Moen, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor.

Responding agencies included the White Earth Police Department, Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office, and the Waubun Fire Department.
