Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) — A head-on crash on HWY 59 in Popple Grove Township, Mahnomen County, left multiple individuals injured on Sunday evening, March 23rd. The incident occurred around 7:08 p.m., under snowy and icy road conditions.

Crash Summary:

A 1999 Chevrolet Silverado heading northbound and a 2024 Buick Encore heading southbound collided near Milepost 293.

  • Driver: Reyna Cruz Gonzalez Rivera (37), Redby, MN – Non-life-threatening injuries, treated at Essentia ER.

  • Passenger: Shelley Ann English (62), Redby, MN – Non-life-threatening injuries, transferred to Sanford Fargo ND.
