Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Twin Valley man is facing gross misdemeanor DWI charges after allegedly driving with a blood alcohol concentration more than four times the legal limit following a traffic stop near Shooting Star Casino on July 10, 2025.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Mahnomen County District Court, Jordan Eric Johnson, 31, was reported by casino surveillance as possibly intoxicated after being sent home from work. Officer Matt Brun located the vehicle and observed it cross the center line before initiating a traffic stop on 130th Avenue.

Johnson reportedly displayed signs of impairment, including bloodshot, watery eyes and difficulty performing field sobriety tests. He registered a preliminary breath test result of .354 and later a formal test result of .33 BAC at the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office.

If convicted of the gross misdemeanor DWI charge, Johnson faces up to 364 days in jail and a $3,000 fine.
