Mahnomen County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A disturbing and violent assault occurred on June 8th at the Shooting Star Casino hotel in Mahnomen, resulting in the arrest of Jesse Paul Stilke, of Waubun, Minnesota. Stilke has been charged with felony first-degree assault causing great bodily harm after deputies discovered a woman in what appeared to be a life-threatening condition.
According to the statement of probable cause, deputies entered the hotel room to find the woman wedged between a bed and a nightstand, partially undressed and completely unresponsive. Stilke was present and appeared heavily intoxicated, uttering to deputies: “Take me to jail. I don’t give an F.”
The scene was soaked in unknown substances, blood was found on walls and pillows, and a broken cell phone and bloody injuries were documented throughout the woman’s body, including a baseball-sized hematoma on her head and extensive bruising.
The victim was unable to speak, vomited while deputies assisted her, and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
