Lynne R Berg, 70 of East Grand Forks, Minnesota passed away unexpectantly Friday, September 29, 2023, in rural Colfax, Wisconsin.
Lynne was born in Detroit Lakes, MN to Jake and Ethel (Engel) Gessele on October 29, 1952. Upon graduation from high school, Lynne pursued X-ray Technician training. She married William (Bill) Berg on May 4, 1974. Lynne started working at United (Altru) Hospital in Grand Forks and pursued further training to become a Radiation Dosimetrist. She finished her career working at the Cancer Center of North Dakota.
Lynne enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening, and watching her grandchildren’s activities. Throughout her life, Lynne inspired her family to be gracious, loving, thoughtful of others, and to do their very best in pursuing their interests.
Lynne is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Berg; her children, Alisa (Jeremy) Anderson and Phillip (Brittany) Berg along with her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jake, Weston, Brenna, Braelyn, and Aislyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Joan Ebert, Cynthia (David) Card, Joel Gessele, and Annette (Brian) Simmons.
Lynne was preceded in death by, her parents Jake and Ethel Gessele, in-laws, Alvin and Vonnie Berg and brothers-in-law, Frank Ebert and Craig Etlicher.
