Lois M. Pinger – Obituary

Lois Margaret Pinger, age 97, of Minnetonka, MN died on May 28, 2024, comfortably in her room at The Glenn Senior Living Facility.

Lois was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota to Louis and Mary Andraschko. In 1948, she married her husband Jim in St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Lois was an avid reader, gardener and pianist. She was also a proud member of the Lois Club. At her senior living facility, Lois often lit up the dining room by spontaneously singing some of her favorite songs. Along with her husband, she attended many Elderhostels and loved those featuring music, literature and history. They traveled extensively and especially enjoyed their many cruise ship trips and vacations to Hawaii.

Lois was a loving mother of six children and a dedicated wife. She is survived by three sons, John (Laura), Tom (Kathy), and Larry (Ann), also two daughters, Jeanine (Miles) Toder, and Susie, six grandchildren, along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jim, son David, two brothers, Charles and Albert (Barbara) Andraschko, three sisters, Marie (Irvin) Everson, Delores (Donald) Campbell, and Adelaide (George) Rerick.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am Monday June 3rd with visitation one hour prior to the funeral at Washburn McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th St Edina, MN. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Grand Forks, North Dakota on Tuesday June 4th at 3pm.
