Linda Kay Flatland, 50, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

A Memorial Service to honor Linda will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Evangelical Free Church in Thief River Falls, MN, with Pastor Kevin MacLean officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Argyle, MN.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday at the church.

Linda Kay Pawloski was born on January 9, 1971 in Warren, MN, the daughter of Ray and Bev (Seaverson) Pawloski.  She attended Argyle Public School where she graduated in 1989.

Linda attended Northland Community College in Thief River Falls, MN and graduated in 1991.

Following college, Linda worked at Discovery Place in Thief River Falls and then she worked for Digi-Key for more than 13 years.

In 1994 Linda was married to David Flatland at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle, MN.  The couple raised their daughters, Heidi, Arin, and Cassandra in Thief River Falls where they enjoyed basketball, camping, Minnesota Vikings Football games, and many other activities as a family.

Linda was a wonderful mother, good listener, and always had time to be there for her friends and family.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a really good joke. Linda enjoyed decorating and crafting and was known to paint rocks with inspirational quotes and leave them in various places downtown.  She found joy in making handmade gifts for others. Linda enjoyed shopping and the thrill of a good bargain.  She also enjoyed going on walks, especially with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Heidi Marie Flatland of Columbus, OH, and Arin Alice Flatland of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Kaysen Ray Flatland, Maysen Saige-Jacob Flatland, and Tripp Evan Smith; mother, Beverly Pawloski of Thief River Falls, MN; brothers, Mike (Pam) Pawloski of Apple Valley, MN, and Dan (Belinda) Pawloski of Savage, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, a great-niece, a great-nephew, cousins, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Cassandra Flatland and her two sons, Hudson and Cooper Jones; her father, Ray; her grandparents; cousin, Rhonda Pilcher; and several aunts and uncles.
