Lilian Tuma Tomah – Obituary

Lilian Tuma Tomah, 79, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at home in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Lilian Tuma Tomah was born in Alexandria, Egypt on January 30, 1945, to Tuma Yousef Tomah and Izabel Salim Ziyadeh. She grew up and attended school in Alexandria and obtained her degree in agricultural engineering. She met her husband, Mazen Hanna Rabadi of Ajlun, Jordan in Alexandria. Lilian and Mazen settled in Amman, Jordan. She dedicated her life to raising her three children. Lilian along with her husband moved to the United States in 2019, to be closer to their children and made Grand Forks their home.

She is survived by her sons, Dr. Khaled Rabadi, Grand Forks, ND, Nader Rabadi, Grand Forks, ND, and daughter, Maria Rabadi, Winnipeg, MB, granddaughters, Dina Rabadi, New York and Jude Rabadi, Arizona, sister, Nadiah Eid, Beirut, Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mazen Hanna Rabadi, brothers Yousef Tuma Tomah, Nabil Tuma Tomah, and sister Zakia Tuma Tomah.

Mass and burial was held in a private ceremony in Grand Forks, ND on Wednesday October 23, 2024.
