Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A terrifying ordeal unfolded earlier this month for a Beltrami County woman, allegedly at the hands of Gerald Lee Jones, a Level 3 predatory offender previously released to the Cass Lake area.
According to court documents, between April 4th and 5th, Jones held the woman against her will at her residence, coerced her into sexual contact through implied threats of harm, and damaged property during the encounter. A welfare check initiated by a concerned family member led a sheriff’s deputy to the scene, where the woman was rescued.
Jones, already known for prior violent sexual offenses, is now facing multiple new charges, including:
