OTTER TAIL COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a Level 3 predatory offender will be relocating to the rural Ottertail area next week.

Officials report that 35-year-old Gregory Michael Keppers will move to a residence in Section 7 of Otter Tail Township on Monday, November 10. Authorities stress that Keppers has completed his court-ordered sentence and is not wanted by law enforcement.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, this notice is issued under Minnesota law requiring public notification for Level 3 offenders, who are considered at higher risk to reoffend. The goal is to inform residents and promote community awareness, not to encourage harassment or discrimination.

A community notification meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, at the Otter Tail County Operations Center, located at 469 Main Street West in Ottertail. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Corrections and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office will discuss public safety, offender monitoring, and how residents can stay informed.

The Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that such meetings are meant to provide education and promote safety within the community. They urge residents not to engage in any form of harassment or intimidation toward the individual.

More information about Level 3 offender notifications in Minnesota is available through the Minnesota Department of Corrections website.
