everyone Neil Berg here on a Saturday evening with what we know so far regarding a robbery highway robbery are reported about earlier on this Saturday afternoon and about just before 1 o’clock a woman reported she had stopped to help some people and was robbed but so far no one is released from the Polk County Sheriff’s Department I talked to the Polk County dispatcher and said there’s still it’s an active investigation there and they’re still working on this so and at this point no one booked into the Polk County Jail on robbery charges so here’s what we know so far the story I posted earlier on this Saturday afternoon we’ve got kind of a strange story few more details on a possible robbery near Crookston this is about a mile west of the beet plant on the Cady Road the cutoff road over to Thompson anyway just before 1:00 the homeowner up here on the Left says a woman pulled into his yard in a pickup and said she had stopped on the road out here to help someone and a couple pulled her out of the truck and she was said she was struck in the head and robbed just talk with the homeowner back here who says he talked to her he and his wife talked to her and she sounded very confused she told them that she was from Northwood she was taken away in an ambulance and the truck was impounded exactly what happened here we don’t know yet we’re still awaiting for word from the Sheriff’s Department but again a homeowner here says they woman pulled in the yard with a pickup and saying she had stopped down the road aways here to help a couple out – who appeared to be stranded and they said that and she said that the couple pulled them out of her truck and she was struck in the head the homeowner here says she didn’t appear to be bleeding but maybe somewhat confused so she was actually robbed or whatever happened here we don’t know yet we’ll have an update from the Sheriff’s Department as soon as it’s available near Crookston I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
