One person is now being held in the Beltrami County Jail on a pending murder charge. However, law enforcement hasn’t said whether the arrest is connected to the shooting incident.
we’ve had a criminal investigation going on in bemidji this would be on the east side of lake bemidji on lavinia road no details from law enforcement yet but here’s a bit of the radio traffic late on christmas day around 11 54 p.m for a possible assault on a family member she stated she had a 357 and pointed it at him and shot unknown if he is injured believe he was at their residence alone i’ll be starting medical as precaution as well again this happened about an hour ago i think happy halloween was on lavinia road as well again that was radio traffic from around 11 54 p.m christmas day then a couple hours later early saturday morning radio traffic indicated that the minnesota bca had arrived on the scene according to an inews viewer who lives nearby this is where the investigation was taking place but as of 11 30 a.m on this sunday no official word yet from law enforcement about what allegedly happened here on christmas night however 36 year old janelle lorraine johnson has been booked into the beltrami county jail on a second degree murder charge she was booked into jail saturday afternoon but again no word yet from law enforcement on whether johnson is connected to this investigation we’ll have an update as soon as law enforcement releases any information regarding this incident i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
