Beltrami County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Laporte man faces a gross-misdemeanor DWI charge. Deputies found his pickup in a ditch. The engine was running, court papers say.

Prosecutors charged Kenneth Cloud Goggleye, 40, with third-degree DWI. The complaint says his alcohol level was 0.08 or higher. It was measured within two hours of driving.

What investigators reported

According to the complaint, a Beltrami County sheriff’s deputy saw a Ford F-150 leave Mission Road. The truck went into the ditch around 1:45 a.m. on Feb. 7, 2026.

The complaint says Goggleye was seated in the driver’s seat. It says he showed signs of impairment. The deputy reported an odor of alcohol.

A preliminary breath test showed 0.14, the complaint states. Goggleye was arrested at the scene.
