LAKE OF THE WOODS, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – In Williams, Minnesota, a shocking case has emerged involving Kraig and Jennifer Stokke. The couple is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a teen girl from 2019 until after she turned 18. According to court records, Jennifer Stokke, an employee at Lake of the Woods Public Schools, allegedly began the relationship when the victim was just 13 years old.
The alleged abuse continued through her reaching the age of 18. The girl told investigators that “things changed with Jennifer pretty quickly” in 2019 and they began texting. Court records claim the couple was in a “sexual and romantic relationship” with the victim when she was 14 years old until after she turned 18.
The victim estimates sexual contact and intercourse happened with Kraig Stokke approximately 20 to 30 times while she was between the ages of 14 and 17, and court records say that the victim estimated the number of times sexual contact occurred with Jennifer between the same time period to be approximately 100 times.
Jennifer allegedly went to great lengths to hide their previous communications, including changing phone numbers and phones, deleting her Snapchat account, and using Kraig’s Facebook Messenger account instead of having her own Facebook account. When interviewed by investigators, Kraig acknowledged there was a relationship between his wife and the victim starting in 2019 but claimed he did not know the victim’s age at the time.
Jennifer Stokke admitted to meeting the victim when she was 14 years old and says the sexual interactions started only months after meeting her, adding that they occurred at the campground and at their home. Both Kraig and Jennifer were arrested and booked into the Lake of the Woods County Jail.
