MANDAN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — Kyle Kennedy pleaded not guilty to three felony charges of Gross Sexual Imposition and one felony charge of Corruption or Solicitation of Minors in Morton County District Court on Monday, September 16. The charges stem from allegations that Kennedy had inappropriate contact with two young boys between 1998 and 2017 in Morton County, North Dakota.

Kennedy was arrested last month in Council Bluffs, Iowa, by the Morton County Sheriff’s Department after authorities sought to have him extradited to North Dakota. He had previously served time in a Minnesota prison before being brought back to face the charges in Mandan.

If convicted of the felony charges of Gross Sexual Imposition, Kennedy could face life in prison. In addition to these charges, Kennedy also pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of Indecent Exposure.

His trial is scheduled to begin in Mandan on December 3.
