KANDIYOHI COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) – A single-vehicle crash on Southbound Highway 71 at Milepost 129 in Kandiyohi County left a 24-year-old woman from West Fargo, North Dakota, with non-life-threatening injuries. Gabriella Dorlene Schwartz was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche when she lost control on an icy road, entered the ditch, and rolled over at approximately 8:40 a.m. on December 9, 2025.
Schwartz was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, but the vehicle’s airbag deployed. She was taken by CentraCare Ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for treatment. Authorities have confirmed that alcohol was not involved in the crash.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene, where road conditions were reported as snowy and icy, which may have contributed to the accident.
