Juvenile Escapes Injury After Crash Near Walcott, North Dakota

WALCOTT, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A 15-year-old male driver escaped injury after crashing four miles north of Walcott, North Dakota, on Saturday evening. The accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when the driver encountered a deer crossing the road and swerved to avoid it. The vehicle entered the ditch and drove into a field, where the Ford Edge became stuck and caught fire in the corn stubble. The driver was able to extricate himself from the vehicle and get to safety.

The Kindred Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries reported, and only the vehicle caught fire. The Ford Edge was a total loss. The juvenile driver was wearing a seatbelt, and no charges have been filed.
