FARGO, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – On December 31, 2024, at approximately 10:31 p.m., Fargo police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex located in the 2500 block of 15th Street South. Upon arrival, officers determined that an altercation had occurred between two juvenile males in the hallway of the building. A resident from a neighboring unit attempted to intervene and was subsequently struck by gunfire. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The individual who sustained the gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Additionally, three other individuals were treated on-site for minor injuries resulting from the physical altercation.
The Metro Area Street Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Clay County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, conducted a search for the suspect. At approximately 3:22 a.m. on January 1, 2025, a juvenile male was apprehended at his residence in Glyndon, Minnesota. He was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
