Age 87, of Murrysville, formerly of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John A. “Whitey” Van Lenten, Jr.; loving mother of Lisa Costa, Leslie (Spencer) Ford, John (Eleanor) Van Lenten, Lynne (Mel) Korbini, Janice (Jim) Hunter, Tracy (Bill) Manfredo, and Michael (Beth) Van Lenten; adored grandmother of Dennis, Christopher, Matthew (Kan) Costa, Hayden Ford, John (Jamie) Van Lenten, Mackenzie (Lyndsey) Van Lenten, Adrianne Popeck, Brooke (Del) Celaschi, Hayley (Joel) Peters, Jake (Marisa) Hunter, Colin Hunter, Kori and William (Katie) Manfredo, Michael Jr., Meghan (fiance, Luke Maurer), Jacob, & Aiden Van Lenten; doting great grandmother to Cooper, Emily, Luke, Jacob, Andrew, Carson, Jackson, Kendrick, and Isla. A proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, her life was devoted to her family and her faith. Friends will be received Friday, October 29th 3-7 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Devine Shepherd at St. Bernadette Church Saturday, October 30th, 10 AM. Private interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
