Lake Township, Roseau County, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Monday, May 26, 2025, at approximately 7:32 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 11 and 550th Avenue in Lake Township, Roseau County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee driven by 61-year-old Gary Allan Moen of Warroad was traveling eastbound on Highway 11 when it collided with a westbound 2008 Kenworth dump truck making a left turn onto 550th Avenue.

Moen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Roseau Hospital for treatment. The driver of the dump truck, 46-year-old Damon Carl Ellenson of Warroad, was uninjured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.

Emergency response was provided by the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office, Warroad Fire Department, and Warroad Ambulance.
