Jamie Lynn Stark, age 47, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Jamie was born in Grand Forks, ND, on October 10, 1976, the daughter of Kent Anderson and Terry (Dahl) Beal. She grew up in Grand Forks, ND, where she graduated from Red River High School in 1995. She also attended high school in Hibbing, MN, where she met her high school sweetheart, Gregory Dean. They were married on September 25, 1998. They went on to have four beautiful children and established a life together in Shakopee, MN.
She lived for her family, and would do anything for her husband and children. Together, Jamie and Greg were an undeniable team, but Jamie was often referred to as “the anchor” of the family and her love for them was unconditional. She was fearless and protected them, but had a very soft heart. She was kind, loyal, strong, passionate, and was a woman of refreshing candor….she didn’t hold back with her opinions, yet she was empathetic and kind.
Jamie was the biggest cheerleader, advocate, and supporter for every event or interest her children participated in. She enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, traveling, playing board games, and movie nights surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving family: husband, Greg; daughters and son, Kyria Lynn, Kyleigh Belle, Kynzie Jane, and Jaxton Gregory; mother, Terry Beal; father, Kent Anderson; step father, Paul (Kris) Janssen; father-in-law, Paul Stark; siblings, Janelle Marie Anderson (Jon Thomas), and Jared Lee (Kadie) Anderson; grandmothers, Irene Anderson and Sharon Dvorak; nieces and nephews, Paige, Karlee, Preston, Alyssa, Blake, and Sadie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Rochelle Stark; grandfathers, Glen Anderson, Richard Dahl, and Dave Dvorak; and maternal great grandparents, Lester and Jeanette Dorr.
