WEST FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me)—Shelby Whitt of Jamestown is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges after fleeing from police and being caught with drugs in West Fargo, according to court documents.
The incident occurred on February 1, when a West Fargo officer attempted to pull Whitt over for a window tint violation. Instead of stopping, Whitt fled, prompting a police pursuit.
The chase came to an end after officers performed a PIT maneuver, stopping Whitt’s vehicle. Upon his arrest, officers discovered that Whitt had multiple outstanding warrants and allegedly possessed drugs in the vehicle.
Whitt is now charged with:
- Felony fleeing from police
- Felony possession of drug paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine

This case underscores law enforcement’s efforts to crack down on drug-related crimes and reckless behavior on the roads.
