A Jamestown man, Shawn M. Pedraza, is facing serious charges, including felony terrorizing and misdemeanor domestic violence, following a disturbing domestic incident in West Fargo. According to court documents, the incident occurred just after 2 a.m. on August 20th when officers responded to reports of a physical altercation.
The female victim reported that after an argument fueled by alcohol, she asked Pedraza to leave as she no longer felt safe. The situation escalated when Pedraza allegedly grabbed her neck, pressed car keys against her throat, and threatened to kill her. Despite Pedraza’s claims that the woman was acting irrationally and physically aggressive, police determined he was the primary aggressor based on statements from the victim and a juvenile witness. Pedraza was arrested and now faces serious legal consequences.
