Jamestown, Stutsman County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 16-year-old pedestrian was killed in Jamestown on Wednesday. A semi-truck struck the teen during a turn.

What happened

The crash happened at about 4:35 p.m. on January 21.

It happened near 4th Street Northeast and 5th Avenue Northeast in Jamestown.

An International semi-truck was pulling a trailer.

The truck was traveling south on 5th Avenue Northeast.

The driver started a right turn toward the west.

The truck turned onto 4th Street Northeast.

At that time, a 16-year-old was walking across 4th Street Northeast.

The teen was struck by the truck and died from injuries.

Driver and vehicle

The semi-truck driver was 36 years old.

The driver was not injured.

Officials have not released the driver’s name.
