Polk County (trfnews.i234.me) – Law enforcement has arrested Jacob Roger Fjeld, born December 12, 1980, on March 6, 2025, for DUI after refusing to submit to a chemical test.
Under Minnesota Statute 169A.20.2, refusing a blood, breath, or urine test after a DUI stop is a misdemeanor offense that can lead to license revocation, fines, and possible jail time. Minnesota law considers refusal an implied admission of impairment, often resulting in harsher penalties than a standard DUI charge.
Fjeld is currently in Polk County Jail, with his case set to proceed in District Court. Further legal proceedings will determine the full consequences of his refusal to comply with testing requirements.
