Investigation Launched Into Major Incident in Polk County, MN on Monday Night

FERTILE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) We have a major incident under investigation in Polk County, Minnesota. A large law enforcement presence was on the scene, after reports of possible fatalities.
breaking news out of polk county minnesota on this uh monday evening uh not a lot of details yet but we apparently have a major incident going on this started about 8 50 tonight this is about seven miles north of fertile on highway 102 from radio traffic at the time it sounded as if there were fatalities one inside a vehicle one outside of a vehicle and there were children inside of the vehicle now as we drive by up to the scene here you’ll see a first responder holding one child or a baby and it sounded like a social services was being called to care for the children now it didn’t appear to be a car accident as you look at the scene here but exactly what happened no information yet weren’t allowed to stop and law enforcement isn’t talking yet but there were numerous sheriff’s deputies and highway patrols on the scene i heard radio traffic of one person being taken to the hospital in crookston at least one person and again as i said social service is being called to care for children now as you see here a lot of law enforcement around this vehicle which appears to be the point of attention but again no details yet on exactly what happened we’ll have those for you as soon as they’re available i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
