Interstate-94 Near Mandan, ND Sees $1.1-Million Drug Bust

MANDAN, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The Morton County Sheriff’s Department has made a $1.1-million dollar drug bust near Mandan, North Dakota.
at 10 a.m. Sunday the Morton County Sheriff’s Office arrested a father and son on felony charges after finding illegal drugs valued at 1.1 million dollars in their vehicle during a routine traffic stop on i-94 Robert Earl Smith fifty-three of Vancouver Washington and Christopher conky 24 of Grants Pass Oregon were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver when asked about the reason for their travel conky the driver indicated they were transporting fan gear to the Super Bowl after observing suspicious behavior the deputy asked to search the vehicle but was denied after conky and Smith were moved to the patrol car due to extremely cold temperatures a canine drug dog grabber was retrieved to conduct a sniffed around the sniff around the vehicle and positively alerted to the presence of an illegal narcotic a search warrant was obtained and it was revealed they were carrying 210 pounds of raw marijuana five pounds of THC wax and eight grams of methamphetamine conky and Smith were transported to the Burley Morton County Detention Center I’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
