Merrit Olson, a resident of Thief River Falls, was behind the wheel of his 2012 GMC Sierra, heading south on Horace Avenue. Initial reports suggest that Olson came to a halt at a stop sign before proceeding into the intersection.
Olson’s pickup truck collided with a 2012 Ford Fusion driven by Amanda McPherson, also from Thief River Falls. McPherson was traveling westbound on First Street when the accident occurred. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
