Intense Police Pursuit and Gunfight in Beltrami County, Minnesota

BLACKDUCK, MN (trfnews.i234.me) We had a wild police chase and shootout in Beltrami County, Minnesota Friday night. It started in Cass Lake and ended in Blackduck.

we have an update regarding what sounds like a wild and dangerous police chase in beltrami county friday evening we have a call into the beltrami county sheriff’s department hopefully they’ll release more information later today but according to radio traffic this started about 9 25 p.m in the parking lot of teals market in cass lake and ended about a half hour later 25 miles north in black duck minnesota copy 10 six fields friday breakfast trivia 81 and occurs 8 500. coffee cast is traffic on the stolen vehicle from teals just happened a silver honda civic taken by two unknown males westbound from cass lake and four last we heard they’ve got that vehicle northbound on mission they just called 33 traffic oh they’re already going hard copy lights on over 100. pursuit with that music on mission road now during this chase going north from cass lake up to blackduck an officer reported that one of the suspects fired shots at a pursuing vehicle and it sounded as if one of the windows on a law enforcement car had been shot out passenger fires uh at least three rounds you can have them start northbound on scenic we have three shots fired at our deputy and pursue windows shout out from them sure abby i’ll show that happy light shut off northbound scenic northbound scenic then law enforcement set up ahead of the fleeing suspects as they rolled toward blackduck copy that stop sticks and shoot the vehicle [Applause] no do not stop sticking shoot it and stop it so that’s the more we can shoot the vehicle or you don’t have any crossfire or the driver the one we have to stop the vehicle i don’t want to end up chasing the guys with a gun then a report of more shots fired law enforcement shots fired law enforcement shots fired shots fired they’re off the road then at that point it sounded as if the vehicle was stopped and was smoking and two subjects were detained we didn’t hear any reports of anyone injured in all this again we’re still waiting to hear from law enforcement uh for confirmation on all this but a uh what sounds like a wild police chase with a shootout ends near blackduck minnesota just before 10 pm friday night check back later today for more details i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
