PARK RAPIDS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Cole Pigeon, a convicted felon from Bayport, Minnesota, is now facing four additional felony assault charges after a vicious attack on a corrections officer at the Hubbard County Jail in Park Rapids. According to the criminal complaint, Pigeon used a makeshift weapon—a piece of metal fashioned into a shiv from a ping pong table—to stab the officer multiple times, leaving severe lacerations near the officer’s right eye and on the side of his head. After the attack, Pigeon reportedly told law enforcement that he was frustrated with his court proceedings and intended to harm any officer he encountered. He has a history of violent offenses, including previous convictions for threats and assaults.
