FLOODWOOD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Fergus Falls woman was among 7 people arrested during a Stop Line 3 protest this week.
Line 3 went through the most detailed permitting process any company has faced and the plan was approved.
This new pipeline replaces 60 year old technology which has been in service and rusting away for that entire time.
Pipeline is much safer and energy efficient than any other method.
When I drive past sites of the newly covered Line 3, I do not see how it can possibly affect Native American hunting rights.
It is also obvious fossil fuel will be required in our society for some time to come.
Electric vehicles will require much more copper and other minerals. I suspect those who are protesting the pipeline will become copper mine protestors too.
All that is obvious to each of us. I think the protestors should simply go home.

What a joke! The protesters near us, show up in large caravans with 2 people per vehicle, and most of the licenses plates are from out west. So much for not using oil products!
