John Jennings Charged with Rape Outside Bemidji Bar

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – John Jennings, a 37-year-old man from Rigby, Idaho, faces charges of raping a woman outside a Bemidji bar. Witnesses reported Jennings pinning the victim down and engaging in sexual activity despite her protests. The victim, who had just met Jennings and had been drinking, recounted being forced into the assault after going outside for a cigarette, believing Jennings would escort her home. When questioned by law enforcement, Jennings admitted to being in Bemidji to drink.

Jennings has an extensive criminal history spanning multiple states, including Texas, Wyoming, Kansas, Alaska, Utah, and his home state of Idaho. Now facing charges in Minnesota, Jennings is accused of felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.

  1. Well for goodness sake don't let the guy out on bail !!! He sounds like a guy who'd just take off and do it all over again elsewhere.
    Hopefully the buck stops there in Minnesota and he gets at least 20 years. Remember folks bars are not the safest places to go alone…even for guys…go with a friend and leave with your friend…NOT a stranger !!!
