Lancaster, Kittson County (trfnews.i234.me) – A developing story out of far northwest Minnesota this Monday afternoon has ignited confusion and concern following reports of an ICE operation in Lancaster.

According to a TRF News viewer, the raid occurred not at the workplace, but at an apartment complex in Lancaster between work shifts. The viewer claims that around eight Nicaraguan individuals, reportedly with legal work documentation, were detained. These individuals were said to be employees of Podco, a local company specializing in powder coating and laser cutting.

In response to the report, Randy Nordin, one of Podco’s owners, contacted TRF News to clarify the situation. He stated that none of the ICE activity took place at their facility, and that all Podco employees are verified through an independent work status verification service. Nordin also mentioned that Podco has not been able to obtain any information from ICE regarding the incident.

Details are still emerging, and we’ll continue to bring updates as more information becomes available.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
